Sacajewea is an icon to those living in the West. Great to visit her birthplace, walk the lovely paths, and learn more about her.

If you are going anywhere near Salmon, Idaho you owe it to yourself to stop by the interpretive center. The building itself is on the smallish side and tells the story -somewhat -but the real wow factor is walking the outside loop. Complete with teepees...More

Took the dogs down for a nice walk. Beautiful self guided history lesson. Love the educational component. I didn't get to go inside the visitors center ot theater because of the fur babies. Next time.

Nothing much to see, cost was very high! Will not go again! Have stopped at other Lewis and Clark things that are much better and FREE!

Very nice greeting from the gal at the desk. Reasonable price to tour the building and grounds. Lots of information about Lewis and Clark and Sacagawea. The town of Salmon claims to be her birth place.

This place has a great laid out walking trail as well as mocked up tepees and camp sites. Also, we listened to a well presented interpretive talk. This weekend there is the yearly celebration of the Shoshone people who lived here.
