Spent a couple of hours enjoying the summit of Schweitzer with family and a few libations. Even on a warm summer day, the summit was nice and cool. The lift tickets are a little pricey. In hindsight, we should have planned for more time to...More

We took the chairlift to the top of the mountain, which had amazing views. What I liked about this chairlift it was only 15.00 and you could go up and down as many times as you liked. You could even just stay on the lift...More

Cancellation policy is absolutely unreasonable. Be aware that you will be charged 100% of the quoted room charge, plus tax, etc., if you cancel less than 40 hours prior as computed from midnight two days prior to check-in even though check-in isn't until 4PM on...More

We visited Schweitzer for a long weekend. We were there for a wedding at the top of the chair lift. SO BEAUTIFUL, you can see for 100 miles! The wedding was beautiful and the staff helped with everything possible. The bonus was the ongoing wine...More

We drove up for the beautiful view. It did not disappoint us. It was breathtaking! We want to try to stay at the Selkirk Lodge. The village at the top looks interesting. Fun places to eat and shop.

The "Nature Trail" at Schweitzer is our favorite and most scenic hike in the Northwest. it's not really a "nature trail" but more of a 1500' vertical climb in 2.5 miles. Well worth it though and lots of scenic views along the way. And now...More

Now when I say it's year round, it shines in winter and summer, though it's always beautiful. I've been snowboarding here, as well as downhill biking (different seasons.) The lift is always lovely. The restaurants and bars up here are pretty good, but go through...More

This is my favorite Ski Resort in the world. Lots of moms and dads teaching their toddlers to ski at the same time they learn to walk. Really sweet.

My friend who lives in Sandpoint took us up to Schweitzer Mountain today. We're here in summer, so no skiing. Shops were open and there is plenty of things to do. There are hiking trails and you can mountain bike. The views of the lake...More

We used to rent a one bedroom condo that had a double bed and a bunk bed in the bedroom. The living room also had a hide-a-bed. Many of the condo's are rented through the main Schweitzer hotel booking office.
