I skied Schweitzer for a week in February 2017. The mountain is huge and has an amazing variety of trails. We were lucky enough to have a foot of fresh powder for the first part of the week but grooming is also top-notch. It is a steeper mountain than some others. The views are gorgeous, but it was frequently cloudy,... More

The day started off foggy and I thought it would be poo but then, lo and behold! The sun appeared and we got some real spring skiing in! There are so many runs to choose from and all of the lifts run really quickly. It's a relatively easy mountain to learn quickly but so big that you don't really experience... More

Only one green run with a few ancillary routes; nothing on the mountains but blues and blacks. Great if you are a good intermediate or advance skier. Sad as this is such a nice place with great staff and three wonderful mountains and tons of ski area. The one green is like a long bowling alley with the chair lift... More

Whether you like to ski, board, cross country ski, tube or just enjoy the beautiful snowy landscape this is the place for you. Our most recent room had two lovely view windows, and as usual was very spacious. This room had a small fridge and microwave and a little table by the slider to sit and eat or read and... More

If you looking for great skiing, and a very friendly staff? Then go to Schweitzer! The weather at any resort can ruin a vacation, put poor customer service on top of that you will never go back and Schweitzer knows that, that's why they great customer service. Love the place.

Love Schweitzer!! Just returned from 2 days of coming off the mountain worked and early from awesome conditions--Chair 6. That is all. But no, wait, there's more...Schweitzer is about an hour, maybe hour and a half from Spokane and an easy (and amazingly beautiful) drive from Seattle. It got ridiculous towards the end of the second day commenting on how... More

Took the family skiing to Schweitzer Mountain between Christmas and New Years (2016). I have 3 kids (16, 13, 11) who have never skiied. I was concerned that it would be too crowded for first-timers. I selected this resort based on reviews. Well, Schweitzer Mountain is fantastic. There are plenty of trails, the lodging is convenient to the skiiing, the... More

I have been here on many occasions. The staff are great! They even remember my drink order..... Nice outdoor seating in the summer and nice indoor seating by the fire in winter. Great place to meet friends!

The new lodge at the top of the mountain is a great addition to the resort. It is a bit small, but it is nicely done and the view of the lake is outstanding. It has a full service bar serving appetizers and a limited snack bar. The decor is industrial done tastefully.

We skied here on a Thursday in March and wish we lived closer to ski here year-round. We lucked out with a powder day and had most of the mountain to ourselves. The mountain restaurant had good lunch options at reasonable prices. Overall the mountain was no frills- exactly what we like. There has been some development (houses) nearby, but... More
