very nicely organized, showed a lot of history for the town. The mine was 12 levels deep and the etched maps that were on display were astounding!

We learned so much here. My husband said the rest of the weekend "we didn't learn that in school",He grew up in idaho. I liked the mine like shaft, I would have loved going in a real one...maybe next time

This is an excellent museum with cool exhibits including authentic mining gear. I liked that there were good written descriptions generously spread throughout.

There is a tremendous amount of information packed into a relatively small museum. The 6 kids with us even had fun doing a scavenger hunt through the museum which really helped them identify things and do some learning rather than just walking through. It's free...More

From the trolley ride out to the mine to the tour guide for the mine it was enjoyable and fun. Very informative. Would definitely recommend this!
