For what it is and what it claims to be, this is a solid, basic state park. It has a very nice, large campground which my family had to ourselves on a Sunday evening in May (the fireflies were fantastic), with clean showers and bathrooms....More

This cave has such history the walk to it is easy you can get good views of Ohio river and there is another cave it’s sealed shut. You have to go in this cave it’s a photographers place to go you can go on top...More

Reminds me of some caves I've seen in Thailand. Nice place and out in middle of nowhere. Bring some light snacks and drinks will help you out a lot. Very interesting pla e and glad I found it.

The state park was so much fun. Hiking into the cave at the bottom of the river was really cool. The weather wasn't great while we were there so we didn't get to explore as much as we would have liked.

The Lodge at Cave in Rock State Park is a great to take a break. View of the river is outstanding watching the river traffic and the birding watching.

Amazing rock formation and is located bottom tip of Illinois where Ohio river passing between IL and KY. Short time attraction and accessible to parking lot.

In 1977 the entrance appeared different due to the copious amount of mushrooms consumed by visitors to the park.
