This is a nice park to walk in. There is a playground area for kids as well. Then only downside is there aren't any bathroom facilities in the park. It is just down the street from the downtown area so there are businesses nearby. There are a ton of Pokestops here as well.

I was looking for a new place to walk. This park had good reviews so I thought I would give it a shot. I saw several other walkers and joggers.lots of concrete paths. You can't swim in the fountain though, bummer. There was a few homeless guys wondering around, not bothering anyone. The park closes at dusk.

I live across from this park and it is utilized all day long a good place to walk, read, find you poke-e-man and the swings are fun. Central High School uses it for PE during the day if you are looking for peace and quiet avoid those times. I found this family picture of my Great Uncle in the park... More

This park is large, plenty of shade tree stand no pet friendly. Seems to be popular at all times with the locals. Beautifully maintained and easy access.

This is a nice, community park central to many homes. We had some time to kill so spent some time in this park. It was relaxing and well-spaced. The fountain and statues were nice and included placards that gave credit to the artist. Most benches had been dedicated as well. Lots of shade and a fenced in playground would be... More

Tons of Pokespots at the west end of the park! Nice park with a fountain, gazebo, and lots of art sculptures. Nice playgrounds for little ones.

West Side is a great, large central park right near downtown. Lots of fun events there throughout the year. The playground is fenced in so it feels very secure to let your kid run free. Great pathways and beautiful fountain in the center.

For me, this park is a nice space, but isn't anything spectacular; however, it is a nice escape from the concrete of the city.

I go to or through West Side Park weekly. It's well maintained and clean. The playground is fenced in so you don't need to worry about the little ones running off. They can't get far! Plenty of benches around the fountain. It's a great place to sit and people watch. Bring a blanket and sit in the grass. There's lots... More

This park in central Champaign is a couple city blocks in size, criss-crossed with walkways and equipped with a gazebo, small sculpture garden, fountain, playground and numerous benches. Enough open area for a frisbee match and lots of shade trees. It is an easy walk to/from downtown eateries, pubs and hotel. The MTD bus lines pass on either side of... More
