This is one of those hidden gem beaches. Grab a copy of The Beach Book and set out to find it. You will likely have it all to yourself. The road gets quite overgrown in spots, but be persistent and you will be rewarded with...More

My favourite place on the island...long bumpy drive that leads to a shady cove. I like to keep walking south. It goes on for ever. The lighthouse beach drive is easy compared to this one.

Many of the beaches are very similar, and I'll never tire of looking at them! The whole coastline of Rocksound is water and beautiful, albeit no different than any other.

This beach could be as nice as other ones on the island, with pink sand and rocky formations for nice snorkeling, but it brings heavy marks from some hurricane. Uprooted trees are lining the whole shore and garbage is really everywhere.

In the Eleuthera beach book, there are two Whiteland beaches. I'm not sure which one I was at but I'll do my best to describe it, along with directions. Once in Rock Sound, you'll turn towards the Atlantic side on the way to the blue...More

Pretty easy beach to get to with the directions listed in the beach book. Does the beach have seaweed, yes. Is there a bit of garbage, yes. Enough, to not make your day enjoyable? No. We found a nice spot on the beach without either,...More

Angie, most of the trash on the Atl. Side DOES NOT come from residents but rather ships! Keep this in mind, look east and say to yourself "Africa, 3000 miles.
