I usually take the train 4 days a week so i’m on it quite frequently. Recently I graduated high school and have always been using the student discount, even after i graduated because nobody told me that it wasn’t a bad thing. Also, I am...More

Horrible! The 320 pm train from Aurora to Chicago is always delayed and I am alsways late to work. The wagons are back in the 60s look, horrible bathrooms and Metra just don’t care. Is just horrible!!!

We used the Metra on returning from the university back to the city. So much quiker than the bus service and you can pay on the train. Train was clean and had double deck seating.

The Union Pacific West and Burlington Northern train lines are very safe and you should feel comfortable taking them to downtown Chicago. Note that you should download the Ventra app BEFORE you get to the train station. This is how you buy tickets. Sometimes when...More

First, this was a great way to stay outside Chicago and get to center city in about an hour. I rode it five round trips (Friday-Tuesday) and was only 5-10 minutes late coming out of town about three times; coming in anywhere from 5am-8:15am from...More
