i like paintings that look like photographs this place has a lot of them, snd a lot of other cool things too. A fun day but it is a DAY even for a not so crazy art lover :)

Stopped in to see the Rodin and wasn’t disappointed. Although there were so many people in perhaps one of the smallest galleries in the museum. But we weren’t expecting a lovely show by Tarsila do Amaril. Wonderful female Brazilian artist. Such a lovely treat. Always...More

So much to see! Loved the layout of the institute and the helpfulness of all the staff! Glad so skip the long lines by ordering our tickets online! And loved how cheap the coat storage was!

Relaxing and invigorating stroll through the Modern Wing where the art is arranged with a spacious approach that allows viewing without feeling overwhelmed. All around there are views of the beautiful architecture of the city giving context and becoming part of the art.

I would also suggest you get the headset where you punch in a number and your hear a fuller explanation about the art work. It cost $7. Highly recommended.
