Went on a Monday night after 10:00pm - Listened to the house Blues band which was amazing. Within an hour the most amazing thing happened. They announced Buddy Guy. A total surprise Buddy Guy on stage for about 10 minutes and I was there with friends to witness "A Legend". The best trip ever. Love his music!

It's a place where you can find the real blues! It's different and great! Take a Buddy beer and enjoy the best songs. You should arrive early.

Relaxed vibe. Live music was awesome. Good cold beer and a nice menu too! Try the Buddy Guy beer :) only thing that would make it better is if he was there!

Cool bar, various beers, chilled out vibe. We visited early in the evening so it was fairly quiet but it's a nice place to visit and find your Chicago Blues.

Me and my wife went to Buddy Guy and were greeted by a rude clerk who didn't let us in without original passports. The copies of the passports and original documents of our country didn't worked. It's not informed anywhere, even at their website. They are a bar or the service of immigration? ridiculous.

We went early, had dinner, listened to a regular duo for a while and was then thrilled with Ghost Town Blues. We got a table of our choice, food was mediocre but cheap, duo was old style Blues - fine but not wow. Not sure why we were encouraged to give tips to the musicians as we had paid the... More

By far the best night thing I did in Chicago. You should get there before 7pm to be sure to secure a table at a nice spot. The beers were good and so was the food. But the main special thing was the blues band and when BG got the mic. Amazing voice, great place!

Always wanted to visit this legendary venue as we are Buddy Guy fans. Went on a Sunday night thinking it would not be so busy - how wrong as all tables were full but managed to get bar stools with a great view. The music was fantastic & the venue has amazing acoustics. No blues fans would be disappointed listening... More
