Brilliant museum. Interesting collections on American Natural History and Anthropology. If you have not been before stick with basic ticket there is loads to see. Nice self service café if you stop for lunch which is easy as you can be here for hours.

My family and I have been to the Field many times. It never fails to impress, educate, and fill a day with great moments. We especially like to look at how massive Sue the T Rex is. We are from South Dakota and so is...More

We allotted one day to see both Field Museum and go the the Aquarium which is next door but you can easily spend an entire day at Field Museum and still not see all the exhibits. It's a wonderful museum for people of all ages.

Recently my mother was visiting in Wisconsin and we took the train down to Chicago to go to the Field Museum. Despite spending the entire time it was open, inside, we only managed to visit a quarter of the exhibits and exhibitions. The exhibit on...More

We could spend many more visits and barely begin to absorb the wealth and quality of the exhibits offered here!

A place not to be missed for the learning experience it brings you. The dinosaur, Sue is magnificent. I find that this museum always has special attractions that are wonderful to see and to learn from.

The Field Museum is a classic venue, one in which the structure competes with the displays for your attention. I recommend arriving early, if possible, to avoid the crowds, and if you do, you will be impressed. I am fortunate to have visited museums around...More

My husband and I spent a long afternoon here exploring so many of the exhibits. The highlight for us was the Hall of Birds- so many fascinating species and so well displayed.

South Loop
This downtown neighborhood offers a variety of
activities ranging from cultural to sporting. If you
happen to visit during football season, you may bump
into a boisterous few fans on their way to a Bears
game on the southernmost tip of South Loop. On the
flip side, Museum Campus offers cultural and
educational experiences in its planetarium, museum and
aquarium, all situated along the lakefront. Grant Park
