We took a group of 40+ kids to see A Christmas Carol. They absolutely loved it. The theater is beautiful and the actors were amazing. Snacks and drinks were cheap enough and easy to get to. I hope to see many more shows here!

We loved the performance but were a little surprised by the reuse of actors throughout the play. We were also shocked by the casual dress of the crowd. We come from a smaller city in Texas and our theater is more formal.

The theater is one of the treasures of Chicago, and puts on wonderful performances. Recently visited to see "Ah, Wilderness" and enjoyed it immensely.

Ah, Wilderness was my first show at the Goodman. While it does not have the glitz of the Oriental it is a very nice theatre. The show was funny, heartwarming and the actors did a great job. Looking forward to my next show at the...More

We had gone to the Goodman Theatre for the opening night of the one man play "Pamplona" with Stacy Keach. It was a story about Ernest Hemingway. During the opening night performance, Stacy Keach apparently suffered a mild heart attack about an hour in to...More

Chicago is second only to NYC when it comes to theater, and The Goodman and Steppenwolf are the theaters I frequent the most to see new, thought-provoking shows. The theater is beautiful and comfortable, the location is in the heart of the theater district, and...More

Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a
