Had some time to kill on Chicago's North side, so decided to wander Lincoln Park Zoo. Spouse joined me after work and had a great dinner outside along the lagoon.

Delightful patio overlooking Lincoln Park Lake. Family, and dog, friendly; space for small children to roam. Diverse, well-presented menu.

Our food ranged from average to good, but the patio is a blissful place to be on a pretty day. Lovely views, nice menu options, and good service.

Ordered fish tacos and buffalo chicken salad - fresh, generous and delicious. A brilliant setting and a complete surprise to find such great food at what we thought was probably likely only to be a generic tourist cafe.
