My boyfriend surprised me with the Chinatown food tour for our anniversary and it couldn't have been more amazing! Rebecca was extremely knowledgeable about the food and culture and thoughtfully designed an itinerary customized to our tastes and interests (the more dumplings the better). We definitely look forward to checking out another Chicago neighborhood with Rebecca! Highly recommended the experience... More

Rebecca's tour was great. My father-in-law is Indian, and I have been eating Indian food for over twenty years and visiting Devon, yet I still learned so much about the food and customs because of Rebecca's expertise as a chef who has studied in India. She made excellent choices for our samples of street food/snacks/vegetarian dinner and desserts. Each place... More

Spending the morning with Rebecca was fantastic. She filled our minds with interesting facts about Asian cuisine and fascinating stories about the history of Chicago. She filled our stomach's with soul warming Pho, made our tongue’s dance with lemongrass salad, and brought a smile to our inner child with delicious sesame balls. And most importantly, she filled our future to... More

Insightful and educational visits to restaurants, sweet shops, and markets - and left eating more great food than I could ever imagined. Her follow-up post adventure was excellent as well. She followed up with a packet of useful information and resources.

A group of foodie friends were treated to a fabulous walk through the Asian shops and restaurants located along Broadway and Argyle streets. Rebecca was attentive to our individual interests and skillfully guided us through tastings, introductions to Thai, Vietnamese and Korean products and lunch. We were also treated to wonderful stories about restaurant owners and neighborhood history. It's clear... More

I have been on a variety of food tours and this is one of the best! Rebecca does a great job of incorporating the history of the Devon St. area, culinary traditions, use of spices and cooking techniques into a tasty and informative afternoon. Samples were plentiful, unique (in a very good way!) and delicious. All of the shop keepers... More
