Nice place to stop by and see some high energy blues. Demetria Taylor is a woman not to miss! The band was super and we enjoyed the authentic experience. It was crowded and small, so get a spot early in front. The crowd was entertaining, some dance skills were one-of-a-kind. It did seem like a lot of corporate groups after... More

Always try and visit here. Great music and great atmosphere. Just watch out for the long pour on the drinks the next day takes some effort 😉

Blue Chicago is located on Clark Street, and the place is quite small. A long bar on the left, small high tables on the right and more tables in front near the stage. The place was crouded. The ticket costs 12 dollars per person, and drinks' prices are between 5 and 7 dollars. I did not like too much the... More

Our hotel suggested this place when we asked for a place to listen to great blues. From the outside, you might be a little put off, but the staff were really friendly and the crowd that showed up were an assortment of locals as well as visitors of all ages. The band was great! Enjoyed chatting with the other patrons.... More

Rev Ups are a great band and mixed a variety of bluesy music you may not know with some tunes for sure you know. Made good use of the sax player who didn't seem like a regular with them. Bar and art are real works of art. Bat has some unusual cocktails.

What I consider a hole in the wall with great entertainment. Everybody up and dancing easily with complete strangers because the venue is so small it is not intimidating.Drinks not fancy but not expensive.

A blues club is about the music and the night we went to see Mike Wheeler it was fantastic. incredible guitar and very personable and entertaining. The club itself is suitably grotty to fit the music and the drinks are strong and inexpensive. Arrive early as it is a small venue and fills quickly. they do not serve food.

Amazing evening with the Mike Wheeler Band on stage. We were looking for some good blues music and we found it. Drinks were inexpensive. Need to get there early to get seats. We will be back.
