Stopped at the Cubby Bear for lunch before our first ever baseball game at Wrigley Field. A fun place with multiple levels. The food was good. My wife had the Cubby Burger with thick bacon and queso dip on a pretzel bun with a side of garlic fries. Delicious! I had my first Chicago hot dog. It was good, but... More

Pre-Game Beer. Tons of cubs fans. Easy access to beer. Very Loud! Walked right in 90 minutes before the game got a couple beers. Hung out with other Cubs fans. Literally right across the street from Wrigley Field. It is a crowded & loud bar with beer and tons of Cubs fans. Don't expect anything else.

This was an awesome place to go after winning!! They had a band no cover and the beers were $8 for 16oz cans.

Great place to watch the game and get a couple of cold brews. It can be a little loud - but hell, when the Cubs play - who cares.

I always used to visit the Cubby Bear after Cubs games but after visiting there this past Monday night following the Cubs walk-off home run in the 11th against the Royals, I will not be going back. Their bouncers are much too eager to escort patrons out of their establishment. While we were there someone jumped up on stage and... More

Located directly across from Wrigley field this is where a lot of fans go before and after games! They have a full set of batting cages in the upstairs area (along with other carnival style games), bar and dance floor on the main floor. Drinks are somewhat overpriced. Overall, seemed like a good place to party after a game (not... More

12 of us went to the Cubs game and needed a place to meet up, so this was a perfect spot. We got there at 12 for a 3:05 game and it was already full. We found a seat at the bar and hung out and drank and had some food. It was really loud, but fun to see all... More

Staying in Wrigleyville

Neighbourhood Profile
This energetic sub-neighborhood, part of the larger Lakeview neighborhood, has a split personality. In the daytime you can stroll along its streets and enjoy a quiet meal, shop for gifts, walk along the row homes or sit peacefully in Graceland Cemetery. After dark, the neighborhood springs to life. Go bar-hopping along Addison and Sheffield Avenue or join the crowd at the historic Wrigley Field for live music. If there’s a Chicago Cubs baseball game in town, be prepared. Cubs fans can get a little rowdy and may prove to be a bit overwhelming if you're not expecting it.
