Nothing there anymore. She has been moved to California five years ago. We kept circling around the area where she was and finally asked someone so they told us. But there is lots of other stuff to to while there. Michigan ave is a great...More

If you are in the area of the Wrigley Building, don't bother looking for this statue. In May 2012, Marilyn (in all of her glory) was moved to Palm Springs, California.

She is not there and we went there to look for her and a local told us it was there for few months. Don't go and look for it.

She's not there, so don't look for her. We didn't know that. I wish we would have known. I don't know why I have to type 100 characters.

It was misfit and an eyesore of the highest order. Most people seeing it were trying to see her underpants. If this came up in Hollywood, it would still make sense, but right in the middle of Chicago, not happening. It was aptly taken away...More

This is very, very cool, especially if you don't know the sculpture is there. One minute you're crossing the Michigan Avenue bridge, and the next you look up and see this enormous sweetheart of a Marilyn Monroe with shoes big enough to sleep in, just...More

I cry a little inside when I see this every day and all the people fawning over it. Why not just make a giant cute puppy statue? It would have about as much artistic merit.

Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan
Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent
Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago
River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out
neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the
place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with
shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and
dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale.
