This place had such a huge variety of tea and tea blends. There were samples to try. They even mixed a special blend for me. They were so friendly and helpful. They also have a rewards program which I can utilize by ordering on-line when I'm not here (I live out of state). Rooibus is my favorite tea and there... More

Tremendous selection, some unique flavors as well as basic options...all exceptional quality. Staff is knowledgeable and passionate about tea, and very helpful. I asked about matcha, and they showed me how to brew a bowl the traditional way. Delicious. Great to know I can buy Adagio online, but I highly recommend the in-store experience at State Street (Chicago).

Need a great way to warm up on a chilly Chicago day? Slip into Adagio Teas. My daughter & I did a tasting with Sarah - it was the highlight of our day. I highly recommend a tasting (scheduled in advance & requires about an hour or more) but if that's more than you're interested in, you can stop in... More

I will come back to this brick-and-mortar shop. Again and again. Indeed will seek out others in the group. Why? They let you taste samples of the teas you're considering buying. Within reason, I expect! I'm guessing the assumption is that you WON'T taste more than a few, that you WILL buy teas from the shop that visit based on... More

This is definitely one of my new favorite shops! I love the variety of teas they have at reasonable prices and I LOVE that they have them all out on the shelf for you to smell. The guy manning the shop today was very helpful and informative! Will definitely go back here next time we are in Chicago.

The staff here clearly loves tea. Whatever you're looking for teawise, you're sure to find it here. There are so many good quality teas that it's difficult to choose. Luckily, the friendly and knowledgeable staff is right there to help you with suggestions. They will even brew you tasters to help you make a decision. If you like tea, definitely... More
