Great place to walk and look at art and architecture. Beautiful area to attend events. Like near this park, concerts, 5k/15k races are held. The park is cleaning and a safe-appearing area.

Wonderful outdoor park. The tree is magnificent, you can skate at either the Michigan Ave side in sight of the tree and street or take a short walk past the tree and Bean (all good photo ops) to the Maggie Daly ice skating ribbon. Skate rental is available or you can bring your own and skate for free. Well worth... More

Walked through here on our way to the aquarium, it was pretty, cold, but a nice walk. Lots of statues to look at.

I personally really liked this park. Great place to just get up and go. The downside is a ton of people go their for the amazing bean lol but who is to blame. it is a must when in Chicago. You can literally walk to a restaurant from the park if you feel hungry after a long walk or go... More

The park to go in Chicago. There's a lot of attractions and of course the Bean, if you don't take a picture there it's because you never been in the wind city.

If you want to attend an event here then it is worth the effort otherwise its just a giant park. I realize that for city people this is the only grass that they see. There is a veiw of the skyline which is good but i know of better camera angles elsewhere. In the winter there is ice skating. As... More

Perfect weather and a lovely walk around Millennium Park at the center of one of the worlds most beautiful cities. While we were there we randomly ran into a class practicing their musical instruments outside and watched them for some time before exploring on. So many hidden treasures in this park go exploring is a must.

I can see that this is one of the most beautiful park I have even been. With 'the bean' makes it more unique spot to be and take pictures and exercise. Love it!

Every trip to Chicago includes a stop at Millennium Park. This Thanksgiving trip was no exception! Beautiful Christmas tree up and decorated for photos. Santa was there... overall another wonderful stop!

Take a selfie at The Bean; meander through the cedars and over the super modern BP Bridge over Columbus Street and head to Lake Michigan but not before lacing up your ice skates at the Skating Ribbon with its slight up and down hills! So fun and if you haven't had enough ever head over to the play area with... More

Staying in Downtown / The Loop

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of the most iconic landmarks in the city. A stunning skyline coupled with cultural attractions like the Art Institute of Chicago present a Downtown where work and play peacefully coexist.
