In the middle of Millennium Park, this beautiful Jay Pritzker Pavilion, where it is supposed to held some kind of outdoor shows or concerts. I did not see a show when I was there, but it has a pretty design and atmosphere.

We recently attended a winter event where we were able to sit inside/behind the stage area that is climate controlled and look out over the park.. Outstanding perspective-! Cozy - only about 150 seats, if that , but very nice! Thank you National Resource Defense Council and Luftwerk for hosting the concert! (Requiem: A White Wanderer)

My husband and I walked around this pavilion while visiting Millennium Park. Designed by Frank Gehry, who also designed the Weismann Art Museum in Minneapolis and the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, this concert venue seats 11,000 people (4,000 fixed and 7,000 lawn). It opened July 16, 2004. It is very large and airy, which would be good for summer concerts as it can get really hot in Chicago in the summer.

Millennium Park has some amazing contrasts between items to see, the Jay Pritzker Pavilion is stunning, also did the design for the Walt Disney concert hall in downtown Los Angeles.
