What an amazing addition to the National Park System -- with the wonderful historic building and the fascinating stories behind them, Pullman National Monument is a must-visit historic site. Hopefully adequate money will be appropriated to renovate and restore these amazing buildings!

Start your tour here before visiting other locations in the district. A well curated visitors center that is up to national park standards. Can't wait for the new one to open in the old factory.

There is a lot of history here, but not much signage. We took the train out from downtown Chicago at a reasonable price of $5 and arrived at 111th and Pullman station. We walked the half block and found ourselves at the closed Florence Hotel...More

This is the 406th site added to the national park system and it should have a bright future. The visitors' center hosts a wonderful collection of Pullman Company (luxurious railroad cars) memorabilia and one of the finest videos of the history of this company town....More
