This is a HUGE conference center. I think it might be one of the biggest in the country. Conference food is never great. It is a metro stop so that helps. You do have to commute a little away from the area to get to...More

One great location for any of the major conventions that come to town. Did the Auto Show and was exhausted by the end due to the shear size of the venue.

I️ attended a Realtor Convention here and was very impressed with the size, staff and food options. Large rooms and smaller rooms met the class needs as well as the huge expo area. The facilities were clean and very comfortable during our event!

We went to McCormick Place for the Hot Chocolate Run convention and it was a good space. Good amount of stalls and in the lobby a nice water feature.

We really enjoyed the venue but mostly because DIGITAL SUMMIT was very organized and well run. Get your FITBIT out because you will get steps in for sure.

I went here for the Workday Rising event. The venue is very large and well run. The bus system that routes to all the hotels is nice. The event was attended by some 8,500 people, however I don't think we came close to filling it...More

What an absolute monstrosity of a convention center. Poor signage within and a lack of reasonable facilities makes attending a conference here a challenge. Expect to walk considerable distances especially if your convention uses the lakeside rooms. The saving grace is that it is reasonably...More

Very huge complex. One might think the sign and guidance would be properly done, but no. Not that easy approach, quite a distance to the city center. Not my favorite exhibition hall.

South Loop
This downtown neighborhood offers a variety of
activities ranging from cultural to sporting. If you
happen to visit during football season, you may bump
into a boisterous few fans on their way to a Bears
game on the southernmost tip of South Loop. On the
flip side, Museum Campus offers cultural and
educational experiences in its planetarium, museum and
aquarium, all situated along the lakefront. Grant Park

We used the bus. It was cheaper to leave the car in the parking garage there and use the bus system to get around. It was maybe $2 a person to use the bus. The pick up area is directly in front and there are maps so you can... More
