My second show - The Bad Plus - was excellent. I like that you can bring in drinks and snacks and the place is small so it feels pretty intimate. The seating is a bit odd, long bench seats with numbers spaced out designating where...More

This venue offers excellent & often unique music & dance experiences from around the world. Besides a list of ticketed concerts, there are also free concerts on Wednesdays - you are asked for a $10 donation at the door. I always check their schedule on...More

We came to visit Dervish at this smaller venue. We sat in the balcony and the view was great. It was not a giant place where it gets overwhelming, but you oftentimes get to meet the performers.

Really unique performances--from classic folk rock to world music--in an intimate venue. Not expensive. Room to dance. Beer and snacks. Plus you can take classes, too! Unique.

Their main theater on the west side of the street is a great small venue for a concert. There are good views of the stage downstairs and up. Very good acoustics. Just went there for the first time but will be sure to go again...More

The venue is ran by music lovers. I think most of the people running the place are volunteers and are thrilled to be there. There is not a bad seat in the house. I wish I lived closer so I could go to more shows.

You never know who will be at the Old Town School's main auditorium. One week, it's slack key guitar artists from Hawaii, and the next, it's a great Bluegrass group from North Carolina. Excellent acoustics and sight lines at this venue. (I have not visited...More
