Old time lounge. Great drinks and piano music. Super service and great for people watching. Coat check was a nice touch.

We were here for New Years Eve. Service was GREAT considering the occasion and amount of people. Our bartender was very attentive and kept up on all of the patrons' orders.

We could walk here from our hotel and had a blast! The pianists keep everyone singing and laughing as the year closes and then kick off the new year with more songs. All ages will appreciate the music played, and suggestions are welcomed by the pianists. Some negative reviews were read, but our experience was great - and no waiting... More

So, we actually just stopped in here to kill a little time on a Wednesday evening, before a 9:30pm reservation at a restaurant. We didn't know anything about this bar and we had no idea about the dress code, until I started reading reviews on here. We were both dressed casually, in jeans and sweaters with boots, but I guess... More

I saw a lot of negative reviews on this place, so I was unsure about it. But I have to say, I'm glad I went there. I love piano bars, and I've been at many, and this is a true Chicago style piano bar. This is not a 5 star restaurant, but a prefect place if you enjoy live music... More

When you think of a piano bar you think classy! Not this place! Looking for a fun place in downtown Chicago after dinner for drinks, stay clear. This is a cheesy place with patrons in yoga pants and hoodies with over priced drinks and a silly table cover charge of $40pp. Try somewhere else!!

On this visit the placed was packed to capacity, I have been visiting here for over 30 years, my favorite live music venue anywhere. After the piano guy took a quick break at midnight he returned with a guitar player, these guys crushed it ! You don't come here for the drinks, although there are plenty of drinks flowing, the... I was with a group of co workers who are all probably in their late 50's and up. Many of them had been to this historic bar many years ago and going here brought back some great memories or something. They are very strict about dress code of at least business casual and NO tennis shoes, flip flops, etc. that's... More

There was a slight wait to get in, but we didn't wait long on a Friday night. There was no cover charge. It is larger on the inside than it appears to be. It is very very crowded inside and hard to find a place to sit. Excellent place to watch people. There were quite a few entertaining characters who... More

This is a great place to visit if you are in Chicago. We listened to Phil Baron last night. He was good at involving the crowd. The place was packed with standing room only at first. The service was a bit aloof but not terrible. The drinks were good and the vibe was what we were looking for at 1... More
