My group and I did the bank heist room. We had so much fun! The clues were tricky (in a good way). There were some puzzles where we could all be involved and others where we could solve simultaneously on our own. Ana was really awesome and helped else when we got stuck. They were a really good game-master. I would highly recommend coming here with your friends/family.

It was an amazing experience. This was some of my groups as well as my first time doing an escape room and it was so much fun. I would love to come back and do another themed escape. Our escape master Lynn did an amazing job guiding us, without giving too much away when needed. If you’re thinking about booking this DO IT!

My family and I were visiting Chicago and thought it would be great to visit an escape room. After doing some searches, we found Fox in a Room. We booked the bank heist, and we were not disappointed. While we didn't quite get the jewels, we had a great time trying and got really close to getting the loot. Lin was an amazing host!

Loved Fox in Box!!! We did The Bank Room and it was totally immersive and everything we were hoping for and more! The room felt real and everything we uncovered just made it better and better. We chose the option for tips along the way since it was our first Escape Room experience and we are so glad we did. We had a long day in the city and since we were tired, we needed those tips! Our helper was Holly and she was AMAZING! The tips were just right to keep us going without feeling like we were just getting answers and not completing the escape ourself. Holly was really fun and did an awesome job! The puzzles were just right. Not too hard but hard enough to get us thinking and they also felt real for the theme. We plan to go back to complete some of the other rooms. 5 stars, hands down!

Arriving at the venue it was a little hard to find but the escape room was great! We did the Bank. Best thing about the whole experience was Mak, our gamesmaster, who knew when to give us a nudge in the right direction and really set the scene. Planning to back to do another room.

We were a group of six and chose to do the Bank room. Our group wasn't particularly experienced with escape rooms but we managed to get the diamonds with just a few minutes left! This was one of the most fun experiences I've had in recent memory and everyone in our group had an amazing time. We enjoyed the level of difficulty and there were some unexpected twists that made this room extra fun. Shout out to Sarah for being a GREAT gamemaster - loved her energy, sense of humor, and she did a fantastic job following what we were doing and giving us hints at just the right moments (without giving too much away). We will be back!

Had a really fun time playing The Bunker with Adam as my GM! Never easy to solo a room and he gave great nudges that still let me discover things for myself. That takes talent! Will be back :)

The Zodiac room is so fun!! Just spooky enough to keep you on your toes, but not terrifying. Also, Robert is an AMAZING gamekeeper. Good hints that don’t spoil too much and friendly attitude! Would absolutely go again!

The Fox in the Box location is within an office building but there is a security guard that makes sure you don’t miss the sign. We played the Bunker Escape Room with 6 people. We were all novices, so it took us almost 60 minutes with lots of clues. But our Gamemaster Holly was extremely friendly and helpful so it was still challenging to figure out the clues within the 60-minute time cap. Very fun!!

Our family loved our experiece at Fox in a Box and their Bunker Escape Room in Chicago! The Fox in a Box team was spectacular from beginning to end, from answering our questrions before we got to the roomand and helping us with our reservation to welcoming us at the location and guiding our time through the Bunker. It was a perfect experience for our family, with Steven as our incredible game master during our adventure. He was the perfect clandestine commrade for our trip back to the Cold War in a high-stakes espionage adventure, which left the fate of the world in our hands! As a group that loves escape rooms, he is now our favorite room host, having been funny, kind, creative, and an excellent fellow spy in our effort to avert global catastrophe, providing just the right blend of clues and mystery that kept us progressing while full of suspense at each twist and turn. And his personalized notes to each member of our family at the end of the experience were hilarious and thoughtful -- a unique touch we have not experienced at other escape rooms! As for the room itself, it was a thrilling experiecne complete with high production value and an immersive and authentic time capsule feeling. Fox in a Box's Bunker Escape Room is a can't miss and be sure to ask for Steven!
