We found this location to be easy to find - some places said it was hard to find. The furnace was much bigger than I had envisioned. Make sure you read up on it before going - there isn't any descriptive signage about it.
It's OK, neat to see, but the gravel roads you have to take to get there should be taken into consideration. Roads start off paved but turn to gravel for most of the way. Some nice scenery along the way but not a must see.
This is a recreation and there's nothing more to see here, just a big grassy area. Skip it. There are better places to visit in the area that are all natural. Even this truly lacks in historical relevance.
