The tickets for this year's season opener. This year's theme is about love and today is an homage to great love stories. Great song choices, wonderful musicians, great soprano and tenor. This is not the CSO, but very close. Evanston is easy to get to and there is free parking. Just a cherry on top.

One of the major orchestras in the world, you cannot go wrong attending any of their concerts downtown or at Ravinia Park during the summer months. The history of the orchestra, its conductors, performers and musicians is akin to a who's-who in the annals of classical and even popular music. A must see and hear ensemble.

We went to a Tchaikovky concert in late May with the wonderful violinist David Perry who stole our hearts away with his performance. The concert hall is set close... More
