Overview
More
Locally owned and operated, The Little Traveler is a Geneva Landmark. A SIMPLE IDEA THAT EVOLVED INTO A ONE-OF-A-KIND EXPERIENCE Downtown Geneva is still known as one of the most unique shopping districts in the Midwest, maintaining a tradition of hospitality, charm, and character. This area is now one of the prettiest streets in Geneva. The Little Traveler has remained the cornerstone of this tradition. The shop has grown considerably since the original Italianate Victorian residence (which now serves as the center section of the shop) to thirty-six rooms of treasures. You’ll be greeted by a caring staff and amazed by the never-ending array of items brought back by our modern day little travelers.

Lovely boutique setting with friendly staff. Met friends for lunch and there's a fashion show going on during lunch. Reminded me of a time gone past where ladies can dine and shop in one place.

Maybe it is just us, but this place seems to be a bit too much, and quite a maze of rooms. Certainly there is variety. I guess if you want to hit one spot in Geneva and cover the most interests you might have then...More

My wife LOVED this store in an old house. Many unique items with a specialty of home decor. Nothing that you see in every store, but truly unique and interesting displays and items. Free food and coffee samples also.

This is just too cute of a place to not visit in Geneva. I can always find something in one of the shops. Was in town recently (we used to live here) and dragged my husband. He found somethings also. It has the charm that...More

On a recent trip to Chicago we had an opportunity to visit friends in Geneva. We stopped at the Little Traveler. Initially intending just to “look around” we ended up shopping not only for ourselves, but picking up lots of unique gifts as Christmas presents....More

I've been to the Little Traveler countless times, since I live close-by. It is a huge old historic house that contains many little shops as well as a quaint restaurant. (If you go for Sunday brunch, there are cinnamon rolls to die for). You can...More

A former Genevan was coming back to town for a quick visit. The only place she wanted to eat was The Traveler and, of course, I obliged. My go to is the petite luncheon plate which includes a drink and a bowl of their delicious...More

Every shop is unique, tastefully displayed items to buy. For me, it is eye candy. Cannot leave without buying something in one of the shop, maybe a piece of costume jewelry, a bottle of wine, or a Christmas décor, the list goes on.
