It is amazing to see that this historic structure has been maintained and open to the public for all to learn Publix history. As a teenager I have the privilege of living in this house before it became a museum
Love this place. No matter what time of the year you go, there is always something to do. Great visitor center, where you can observe live animals and learn about them. Short and longer walks through forest preserve, interesting 'pioneer time' area and many more.
Berry nice, small historic property well cared for with knowledgeable friendly staff. Whether you're there for some nature walking or for their Christmas house crafts (not to be missed!)it’s a great place to visit All year around.

Extremely pretty site and there is so much to see, it's worth your while to make a few trips. Kids will find the animals fascinating and there are plenty of interesting historical facts to intrigue the adults!
