We had heard that the Christmas lights around the house and gardens were magical for children. The website and media appeared to suggest that it was possible to visit without having to purchase tickets to the house. Unfortunately this was not the case. So 4...More

We often tootle out to Blickling for lunch,as the restaurant is always good.Today was no exception, fabulous venison stew, and almost too much to digest.Excellent value.I can only assume the “ moaning Minnie’s” expect the house and beautiful gardens to be kept in their pristine condition for...More

I visited here with friends at the weekend, sadly I didn't visit inside the hall but I did enjoy a lovely walk around the grounds and a nice coffee and cake in the cafe. Very enjoyable.

We’ve been lucky enough to visit Blickling many times, and it’s never less than fantastic. Even though it was busy (New Year’s Day!), you didn’t have to go far into the grounds to find tranquility and fantastic scenery. The formal gardens looked fabulous with their...More

The lights in the garden were fantastic, and the house was stunning. The mulled wine and mince pies were scrumptious. Also the staff were friendly and very professional as usual.

Pre-booked Christmas house entry on-line ages ago, knowing we would also have to pay for 'house' entry on the day. Well one of us would as one is a National Trust Member. (only till expires end of 2018) However, what wasn't clear when pre-booking was...More

We’re sorry you were disappointed with your visit here. We suggested that people should prebook entry to the house (which you very sensibly did) in order to avoid disappointing anyone who had to be turned away; the whole experience would be spoilt if the house...More

No dogs allowed beyond the main gates even though they say they love dogs. Great walk around the lake but no doggy bins to dispose of waste, which encourages owners to leave poop on the ground or worse still, discard the doggy bags in the...More

Visited the Hall on a cold Winters Day to view the lights and the House. The day didn't start too well, as former Members we did not realise entry and charges had changed in the last year. However our problems were resolved very professionally by...More

I’d go to Sandringham, although there’s not so much you can look at in the house itself, there’s the lovely gardens and a museum which is excellent.
