A very old british made tram runs from Palma to Sóller, where you can change the line and the other one takes you to Port de Sóller. This 2nd is a 25minutes ride first across the downtown of Sóller, than on the beach. Costs 7€/person,...More

A "must do" trip - used by locals as well as tourists. 8 euros one-way. We walked up to Soller along the GR221 and rode down again in the tram to the port.

Worth a one way trip, but it’s expensive at 7 euro each. The good old fashioned tram takes you from Soller down to the port, with nice views along the way.

This 95 year old tram winds it way rather majestically through the villages it has been immaculately restored and is in beautiful condition well worth the trip.

We enjoyed riding the historic tram to make the journey to Port de Sóller. The tram stops just outside the train station in Sóller so the connection is easy if you’ve travelled out of Palma on the vintage train.

The train one way Palma-Soller for an adult is 25E and the tram Soller-Puerto de Soller is 7E = 32E total. But a return ticket also cost 32E! I considered taking the bus, but wanted to experience the old train and tram. A... More

I would agree that a taxi from the port to the cathedral area would be best and then walk to explore the area around the cathedral and towards the station
