Stepdaughter lives just up the road - I never tire of walking the dogs here come rain and shine . Granddaughter loves the dunes and generally every one appears happy. Statues are always great to see either at high or low tide . 15 minutes from Liverpool but a lovely trip to the Beach by the Mersey

We were warned about the dog mess but must have timed it right as the tide was on its way out and no sign of any. Great to see walkers runners and dog walkers enjoying doing what people do best ,breathing in the fresh air exercising and admiring the views.

Great place to watch the ships come and go, the starlings rise and fall, and the dogs and children running in the beach. You have to pay for parking now so be prepared.

We visited here on one of the coldest days of the year and it was amazing. After reading some reviews we parked at the leisure centre and it is only a short walk to the beach. We arrived as the tide was going out and to see the statues heads appearing from the waves was amazing. Even though it was... More

A really lovely place to go and marvel at the sculptures and take a long walk. There were plenty of people and some had dogs. As a dog owner I always pick up poop so was so disappointed to see piles and piles left on the beach. It spoilt our visit.

Lovely walk. From lifeguard station to lakeside marina. Lakeside marina has nice cafe / bar. Nice to have some fresh air in January and nothing is better than the views over the mersey and the Irish Sea x

There are great beaches all along this coast. Plenty of sand, wonderful sunsets and miles of good walking. Well worth a visit.

I use the beach for running and the prom for cycling ( I even have a bell so I don't scare the walkers!) It's a beautiful place at any time of the day or year. Non-local land lubbers. Use your loaf: check tide times and enter the area near Hall Road Coastguard or Crosby Leisure Centre and read the information... More
