We took a walk to the viaduct and wow is all I can say. Great walks around the viaduct and a fast flowing shallow river to paddle in or picnic beside. Narrow road to get to it but well worth it.

Did the circular walk about 3.5 miles today and thoroughly enjoyed it. The walk is very easy to do. The walk has it all, woods, river, old mill workings, viaduct etc. and the views are amazing. Thoroughly enjoyable and would recommend.

After stumbling into the valley whilst navigating to our B&B we drive under the viaduct. So in awe we came back the next day to have a longer exploration. No wonder this is World Heritage status as a must see piece of engineering & architecture.

Lovely visit with my husband, very quiet and peaceful. Situated in thick woodland with a tranquil stream, it's the perfect location for a stroll...even in the rain. You can even venture to the top of the viaduct and see into the valley and the rail...More

Lovely walk. Very peaceful. A bit sticky today but plenty of shade from the trees which would also give protection from the wet stuff. Lots of stick throwing and the occasional dip in the river for the dog.
