My husband and I are fans of Frank Lloyd Wright so we take the opportunity to tour any places he created when we are traveling around the country. This home is amazing. So much has gone into restoring it to it's original beauty. It is...More

Attended a reception here and the house is very cool! Recommend for smaller groups as there is not a lot of space and the rooms are broken up. The caterer, Bennett-Curtis was really good and set up the stations well that we didn’t feel crowded....More

Our first visit to the Bradley house, but it will not be our last. Loved the tour as we had the tour to our selves. What a great time and highly recommend this home for a tour. Too bad that the Hickox House next door...More

Fantastic location (on the Kankakee River), perfectly set into the terrain, beautiful woodwork and art glass. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the house and history. Really appreciate the efforts of the Hall family with saving this treasure.

Revisited here when I found out it was open to public. Nice restoration of what was once a home then a fine dining restaurant. Most of the Wright touches are here, from Prairie lines to built-ins and stained glass. Worth a day trip from Chicago,...More

For those of you who are Frank Lloyd Wright buffs, this is worth a trip to Kankakee, IL. Having lived here most of my adult life I have seen the Harley house go through many transitions. In the 70's it was a restaurant for special...More

The home was beautiful! Our guide was very knowledgeable. She worked there when the home was a restaurant, so she had personal insight. It was nice to hear about the owner's history with the house. A little disappointed that it was mostly unfurnished though.

We took a short road trip from the Chicagoland area and enthusiastically and curiously arrived at this magnificently restored, well maintained, 6,000 square foot home and prairie style home on the banks of the Kankakee River. Every part of the experience was fascinating, from the...More

Did not expect to find this great historical site here but glad we did. We had a very friendly guide who took her time and answered all of our questions. We very much enjoyed our tour.
