This state park is a very quiet place. The road through it is a little over a mile, and it's easily walked in a couple hours (though it is uphill and downhill a lot). There are lots of benches and grassy spots to stop and...More

We tent camp but take a site with electric for my morning coffee. Well maintained park with lots to do. Fun trails, nice beach, plenty of spots around lake you can fish from. One of the few parks that have a sand beach anymore... Swimming...More

We have been here several times to fish. I can't say we catch too much, but we always have a good time. The scenery is always beautiful and it is alway so peaceful out there. I have gotten to see some great sunsets while fishing....More

Pros: Grounds were well maintained. Enough trees to provide adequate shade. The campground was not too crowded so campers were not right on top of each other. Campground hosts were friendly and helpful. This was a quiet and peaceful place to camp for the weekend....More

The beach is somewhat well kept, the water was pleasant. There is a bunch of algae in the water. The children enjoyed themselves. Parking is available. Water is shallow enough for kids to walk right in. Will definitely be visiting often this summer.

This state park used to be the bright spot in Lena. Due to state budgeting, it has really gone downhill. The roads are literally being washed away, with no signs of repair anytime soon. The snack shop/boat rental store is closed. It hasn't been open...More

This state park should be the poster child for parks not receiving any money because of a budget crisis. My husband and I came here specifically to go kayaking and what we found was sad. There was a green algae covering the entire lake and...More

Really nice trailer campground. Wide sites, clean and quite. The showers are good and stinks, flush toilets are in this central building. Pit toilets are located further from center for the not wanting to walk to center building. Hosts were helpful. The park outside of...More

Not bad but if our state would get there head of of the place the sun doesn't shine the park and lake would be in far better shape
