This is a Special dog park, m with a large areas for the dogs to run. Probably 10 acres and partially wooded. Has a special shelter with fireplace for cold days. Supported by Park District and volunteers to keep it special.

There are several trails within this park, some paved and some meandering through the woods. It was good exercise and we'd definitely go again when in the area.

Tent camped two nights here and was very happy with the campground and the shower facility. nice hikes and lots to do among the beauty of northern Illinois. In a bad mosquito year the bugs were nearly non existent here.
