We ended up spending the day here. We played with virtual excavators, logged out trees, moved dirt (or in my case crashed my earth mover into fences and buildings). We could climb up into all the tractors and equipment. Staff were also available to answer questions. There is a small film that's shown that is interesting as well. It made... More

We came to Moline for this purpose. However I had no idea what to expect. If not for one particular staff member I may have been disappointed. The family had a ball climbing in the equipment. The history here is wonderful and a great display of antique and new equipment. It kept my farmer husband entertained.

The displays and history are very well done. Since kids under 13 can't go into any of the John Deere factories, the Pavilion is a great place they can visit.

My 5 and 7 yr old boys were in absolute heaven! They got to climb inside all sorts of machines that JD makes for all sorts of professions. They did a scavenger hunt through the pavilion that forced them to read and not just stare at the plaques. They learned JD was a real person and how he started the... More

This place has very cool equipment on display and you can climb into the cabs and check out the controls and see how everything works on it. They also used to have a diesel engine on display with parts cut out of it so that you could see the inner workings. :) There are educational videos on the progress of... More

For free is very impressive. Nice displays and very helpful, interested staff. There is a store next door where you can spend the money you just saved.
