This is a great festival!! There is something for everyone and the vendors are very diverse. There is food, music, and a kids area. Happens every September in Mr. Vernon, Illinois. Come check it out!!

We visited this lovely town for a weekend on the way totality for solar eclipse. This town was lovely and in particular this art museum was great for us and the kids. As a bonus there was a display of pictures from the Hubble telescope.

We went to see the Hubble photography exhibit and stayed to see the quilts, the small but expertly curated art exhibit, and the delightful children's museum. The museum is surrounded by a sculpture park. This museum is definitely worth seeing.

The sculptures are really interesting. I ran in the morning through and near the grounds to see the sculptures. It was great.

A beautiful museum on a huge estate. The building itself is lovely and airy. Unfortunately, we were there between exhibits. But their permanent collection includes Cassatt and several Ashcan artists. Unfortunately, Thursday Night live is over until next summer. Check out The October Fest Hayride on Friday October sixth. It is an adult only event with music.
