Fascinating stories. Authentic renovations and restorations. The senior couple missionaries were very helpful and knowledgeable. The demonstrations of the everyday skills and crafts the settlers used were well done and informative.

Girls trip. Such a wonderful day spent in Historic Nauvoo. We learned a lot about the ways of the early Saints and their trials in the early 1800's. Such a beautiful temple. Enjoy the Family Living Center and make rope!

You can learn a lot about not only LDS history but history of how pioneers in early America lived life - making rope, bread, rugs, clothes, horseshoes, barrels, etc.

Let me get this out of the way, I'm LDS and loved the way that the LDS Church has rebuilt this piece of history. That aside, if you are a history buff, it's hard not to like this place. The people who run the tours...More
