CDM of Normal, IL is a great place to take young children. My kids especially like dressing up and performing on the stage on the 3rd floor. It is always changing, so don't forget to come back again.

1st visitor, had my 3-year old grandson. We spent 3 hours there and not once were we bored! I loved the fact that it truly was a hands-on time. Especially loved the 1st and 3rd floor activities. I would recommend this to anyone because even though I was an adult, I was having fun myself playing with all of the... More

My daughter and I did a special girl scout event here over the weekend, but we were also able to check out the rest of the museum too. They had some cool displays here. Some of the things we couldn't figure out what to do at the exhibit, so we just moved on. That might not be an issue during... More

We've been to the CDM many times and although my kids enjoy it, they are starting to get to an age where it's not as fun anymore. This is a great place to visit if you e never been before...highly recommend. It's clean, the staff are wonderful, and there are 3 floors to explore. As my kids are getting older... More

My husband and I took our son for a fun birthday day! Loved the variety of fun offered- some equipment is pretty beat up but otherwise is was hours of entertainment for our four year old

Our kids love going here, it's a full day activity, they can touch and explore everything. They love painting on the windows. And parents, we get the most wonderful and educational toys and games there for gifts and with free gift wrapped!

The museum has a large variety of activities for all kids. They can shop in a store, make pizza, climb a tree house, paint on glass windows, perform on stage with costumes, play in a water trough, and that doesn't even begin to list the activities. It is fun as well as educational.

Have a 4 and 7 year old thought it was only gonna be a short trip stayed for 2.5 hours! Kids were occupied with so much stuff! Young kids will enjoy older kids may not! Worth it and not to pricey! Paid less than $50 for 4 people.

Visited the museum with my son, his wife and 2 year old daughter. The museum was very hands on with two permanent exhibits and one temporary. It had something for the whole family. The farm section was awesome!!
