The newly restored temple is an architectural gem. All the flowery descriptions of it fall short of adequately describing it. If you like FLW, it is worth the stop. You have to buy tickets at the FLW studio and home.

Unity Temple just opened this month. One of Wright's great public buildings, it is a bookend to the Guggenheim in NYC. The sanctuary is magnificent. Do not miss.

The Unity Temple is currently undergoing restoration and is completely covered in plastic. Hope to see it on another visit!

It certainly was worth seeing before the restoration started, and it will be a phenomenal experience when the restoration is complete in the Fall of 2016.

The area is really wonderful and FLW houses are magnificent. However, to me, the audio tour at $15 pp is a rip off. It gives only a 1 or 2 minutes presentation of each house which is not enough to discover FLW style. It should...More
