Camped with travel trailer. Camping sites large. Park well kept. Bathrooms and shower clean. Great hiking. Trails well marked. Park concession/store closed for season. No firewood or supplies available for purchase on pro. Firewood available outside of park by private homes.

Great place for picnics and camping. The trees are turning and looking so pretty now. You can go through at dusk and see a lot of deer.

This place is amazing. Lots of ponds that were created following a large mining operation. Good for fishing, a river for swimming/floating, parks for kids, hikes, and a very nice campsite. You won't run out of things to do here. Campsites are available for RVs...More

Nice park with lots of ponds. Some trails and decent scenery. Not the most beautiful place in the country, but it is nice.

This is a beautiful place. There are 22 deep ponds/lakes here and 2 rivers, so if you like to fish, this is the place to do it. There are also 2 campgrounds here, if you like to camp (but, there are no 'waterside' campsites that...More

We camped in the tent camping area that had the ancient out houses. That is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. I don't mind pit toilets but these were awful. I prefer the newer, larger cinder block ones. It was the last...More

Somehow we didn't notice that interstate 74 goes through the park less than a mile from the campgrounds. We noticed the noise when selecting a site in tent campground (noise could be heard in all 3 campgrounds) but thought it wasn't too bad. We hoped...More

Went the weekend after labor day. Plenty of camping spots for tent camping. In the area we were there were only about 4 or 5 other campers. So not crowded at all. They have primitive camping as well, but its right off the dirt road...More

There are not. Kickappo State Park offers a number of campsites, both tent and RV, but they do not have existing structures for rent.
