We spend half day on a rental pontoon fishing and boating on the lake. One of the most peaceful and happy experiences with kids. Lots of rainbow trout to catch. early morning is best, late afternoon gets windy on the boat.
My family and I rented a small pontoon to do a little fishing on the lake. The owner was really nice and helped us get set up with our life jackets and bait. He even let us borrow a fishing rod and explained the best...More
On the opposite side of the lake from the highway, rocky point will rent boats for one of the best trout fisheries in the country. It can get choppy in the afternoon so you may want to consider a pontoon with a canopy to keep...More

Yes, there is camping close at the North and South campgrounds approx. 3 miles from our facility. Last I checked, the campsites start from $17.00 and include a fire ring, picnic table, drinking water, and flush toilets. The North campground has some sites that overlook the lake if you're lucky to secure one with a view. BLM has nice free campsites with a fire ring only past the lake turn right on Hatch Road.
