This is a privately-owned fantastic nature preserve with walking trails, unique vegetation and an otherwise largely untouched area. There is a small admission charge (about $2 -- one of the best values you will find) which gains you access to marked walking trails that take you out to the coast. There you will find diverse creatures including sealions, penguins and many bird species -- we even saw nesting red-footed boobies. This was one of the highlights of our visit to the central coast region of Chile.

Generally easy walking except for the last 50 metres or so this location is breathtakingly beautiful with superb coastal rocks, fabulous birds and wildflowers and sensational geology. Enjoy nature and you will love this!

This walk is mostly on flat paths, although the last section is steep over rocks. When the rocks were really steep, there was a sidewalk of sorts. Our two year old needed to be carried because of her fearless perspective. Even the older children in our group needed to be reminded to be careful. The scenery: rock formations, flora and fauna was gorgeous on a beautiful clear day - Chile's coast at its finest.

It is worth the effort to get to this beautiful place.
We only ran into one family that was a kilometer behind and then on the way back we met another family accompanied by a local guide.
Due to the steepness of the road, it is not promoted to the entrance to the park. But it is 100% recommended for you to visit. Maybe not with children for safety if they don't handle difficult trails.
I'll add some photos to give you an idea.
Be careful, you can't see the bottom of the pool and it is a few meters from sea level...
