Visited here a few times with students and every trip was well worth it. It mat not be the reason to come to peoria, but it's an added reason to enjoy it

Easy to travel through the different lovely areas. Many 'hidden gardens' that are tucked around behind large trees and shrubs. Various benches to sit and soak in this beautiful setting.

Upon arrival it was very nice, parking was plentiful just outside the building, admission was low and the gift shop at the entrance was full of beautiful things for your garden. The first room going inside was full of various tropical plants, leaving them you go into the main garden and it was there that took me by surprise. Not... More

Wonderful area in Glen Oak Park and close to the Children's Museum and Zoo. Great place to grab a bench and enjoy the weather and plantings.

A visit to Luthy's pastoral gardens will delight all. This small greenhouse with its eclectic collection of tropical plants has varied species of cacti, trees, orchids, and unusual plants. The outside gardens have showy areas throughout the year. The garden is accessible to the handicapped and can be toured in 30 minutes or you can take a leisurely hour stroll.

It is a very charming garden to visit, to look, to think, to learn and to admire. Fountain, Rose Garden, Cottage Garden, Conservatory, little trails and benches, a very cute Children's Garden with some beautiful old-style sculptures... Trees, flowers and herbs ... On five and a half acres one can see a lot! The grounds are well-kept and maintained in... More

It is great that it is free (donations accepted). For where it is located, the size and variety is quite impressive. It is quite lovely and well-laid out, but the interactions with the staff were minimal.

The gardens are always well maintained. It is small, we went to take pictures of the kids. Was not busy and got to take our time.

Our photography class visited this place as part of our study of black and white pics. It was fun capturing the plants and flowers on film (so to speak)

I have visited Luthy Botanical Gardens many times over the years as I am a native Peorian. The gardens are located in Glen Oak Park on Prospect. There is a riot of tulips and daffodils in the spring, and beautiful roses during summertime. You can also enjoy the indoor garden all year round for a modest fee. Many tropical plants... More
