Really enjoyed the visit! The parking is well organized. Wonderful place to have a outing with family and watching rowing. Best to organize picnic than buy food from the cafe.

A loverly autumn walk was had in a family friendly environment with adequate pushchair facilities and good parking areas and it’s nice to take an enjoyable stroll without having to be expected to pay for the privilege , well worth a visit .

the mile long lake, set in park land, very easy walking, bikes, flat wide paths, you can walk all the way round the waters edge, some wild life to watch, no shelter, toilets or café that we could see,

I regularly go outdoor skating at this venue, however, check their events calendar before you go as it's a rowing lake and is popular for races and runs etc and is sometimes unavailable. Has toilet facilities and one lap of lake is 5km. Great on...More
