The day started with a trip round a tomatoe plantation with freshly made tomatoe soup. We then moved onto the Gullfoss Waterfall and then the Geysers ending with a look at the site of the first parliament in Iceland. The guide was exceptional and her...More

Toured this area with Iceland Excursions Tours. It was called the Golden Circle Classic. Well worth it, saw waterfalls, geothermal area, Pingvellir National Park and much more.

Well, in Iceland one just has to see this route. We went with Iceland tours. Gilbert, tour guide, knew a lot. Nice to see everything, especially the water 'factory' (extra bonus to see next to the nature miracles the route offers)

Lots to see on this eight hour tour. Thermal plant, waterfalls, tectonic plates, some nice scenery. Pack a lunch or buy at one of the stops. Do this tour.

The waterfall and geyser were interesting but I found the open air parliament area where the tectonic plates are pulling apart really interesting. Again you got the opportunity to walk with your guide to see this area from a view point, which gave you the...More

The Golden Circle tour is an ideal way to see the main attractions of Iceland. It includes the Gulfoss waterfall, the geysers and national park. The views on the trip through the snow covered mountains were breathtaking.

Hi! I'd go with warm layers of clothing and wind/waterproof outer layer. Layers are easy to pack with you. You can adjust them to the weather and easily take off top layers during car journeys etc. In Iceland the weather is... More
