Station Theater is GREAT community theater. The acting, directing, and set work have to fit into a small, converted train station, and these people do it with imagination and style. Even when the train goes by, they work into/around it. I

Our friend in Champaign-Urbana recommended this local theater. We enjoyed their production of "Party " by Tom Basden. The acting was excellent. I would highly recommend supporting this theater production. We went during the week and the tickets were $ 10 each--what a bargain !...More

This is a great little find and if you want to try something local and different this is it.The theater is small and the stage is intimate bringing you closer to the experiencing. The price is right and you will appreciate the local talent.

In downtown Urbana in a converted train station, we attend this venue to support the community. Tha plays feature a range of classic plays and newer works. Although it operates on a shoestring, a good time is generally had by all.

If you are a serious theatre patron, you will like the Station Theatre. Their productions are consistenly well produced and well acted. This black box theatre has a very small seating area, so you should definitely plan ahead and make a reservation on their website....More
