A wonderful free attraction, of interest to adults and children alike. Beautifully restored examples of both aircraft which visitors are able to see at close quarters.

we were impressed with the grounds which had a small memorial garden, which was quite moving. the museum is full of battle of Britain exhibits, that come to life due to the way they are put on show

If you are interested in ww2 memorabilia then this is the place to visit, took our two grandsons who loved it, and on the same site is the RAF museum also excellent

Excellent. Run and funded by volunteers a traditional museum and tribute to those heroes of WWII. Not much "hands on" and plenty of "do not touch" for obvious reasons, still a very moving memorial and exhibition, crammed with memorabilia. Plus the two star attractions of...More
