A jewel of a very small museum especially for WW II history buffs. A lot of detailed and personal artifacts on display. As a hidden treat, there is a small café attached to the back of the museum with homemade items. They have a traditional and delicious spotted dick.

So much to see including a Spitfire and a Hurricane at very close quarters. Masses of memorabilia and a very nice restaurant for just drinks or a meal.

Incredibly interesting place. Admission is free although donations are invited and there is a gift shop to finance the museum. Although I am not a great fan of military history this place is fascinating. I could go back again and again if I were here for longer as there is so much history and so much to read. If you... Great displays of memorabilia from times of war- with unusual artefacts and interesting paper ephemera as well as two aircraft. Poignant personal histories in pull out drawers, detailed achievements and original photographs. The cafe was good. Clean, good service and delicious food. Access for people in wheelchairs and provision of toilets. Worth a visit.

A really worthwhile free attraction with two real aircraft you can see up close, plus loads of other fascinating artefacts. With a great reasonably priced cafe with decent children's menu and extensive gift shop this is a good place to spend an hour especially if the weather isn't great. Don't forget to drop a few quid in the box before... More

Great Museum, may only have 2 aircraft but there is so much too see. Free admission and well worth visiting. Both aircraft saw active service in the Second World War.

Firstly, the cafe was excellent; clean, good food, fast service, clean disabled toilet. The museum was fascinating too...but only if you have the ability and attention span required to read the interesting and informative labels attached to the exhibits. We took an hour and a half to drink it all in; toddlers would probably take about 14 minutes!

Well worth a visit to this interesting museum on a former Battle Of Britain Airfield. Adjacent café and free parking.

Seemed to be more of a souvenir shop and café rather than a museum. It does have a lot of artefacts in glass cabinets surrounding a Hurricane and Spitfire.

Such a great place. We should all take the opportunity to visit this unique museum in Kent. You can learn so much about WWII and see the fantastic spitfire and hurricane planes, It is surprising how many mementoes they have here. We found the letters especially moving. There is no charge to visit but donations are requested to keep this... More
